This Privacy Policy explains how Smart Consumer Services LLC operates PriceNine and may collect, use, retain, and protect information when you visit the site, contact us, request email updates, or choose an optional SMS program. This policy is written for general information and should be reviewed before launch with the actual business details and service providers.
Information we may collect
We may collect contact-form details such as your name, email address, topic, and message; newsletter signup details such as first name, email address, and email consent; and SMS opt-in details such as mobile number, selected consent category or categories, consent timestamp, the form source, and any required confirmation status.
We may also collect technical and usage information, such as device/browser data, pages viewed, approximate interaction data, and log information. Cookies or similar technologies may be used for basic site operation and, if configured later, privacy-aware analytics. We do not add a tracking identifier to this project by default.
How information may be used
We may use information to respond to an inquiry, deliver requested email or SMS communications after the applicable affirmative consent is captured, maintain communication preferences, improve the site, prevent abuse, maintain records, and meet reasonable operational or legal obligations. We use information for these purposes because it helps operate the public resource, honor a request you make, protect the service, or comply with applicable requirements.
Service providers
We may use carefully selected service providers to host the website, support forms, deliver requested communications, provide security, or measure site performance. A provider may process information only as needed to provide its service to us and subject to appropriate contractual or operational controls. The live provider list will be added before launch.
Communication choices and opt-outs
Email recipients can use the unsubscribe link included in an email. SMS recipients can reply STOP to cancel messages from the applicable program and reply HELP for help. SMS consent is optional and not a condition of purchase. You may choose marketing messages, informational messages, both, or neither; each consent category should be stored and honored separately.
SMS-specific information
If you opt in, we collect your mobile number and documented affirmative consent for the category or categories selected. We use that information to administer PriceNine Text Reminders, manage confirmations and opt-outs, and maintain reasonable suppression records. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in consent with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We do not send messages to contacts who have not opted in.
Retention and security
We aim to retain personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, to honor communication preferences, resolve inquiries, maintain required records, or meet legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information and service, but no method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have choices regarding access, correction, deletion, portability, or limits on certain processing of personal information. To make a request, contact help@prc9.com. We may need to verify a request before responding. State-specific privacy disclosures and instructions will be added if applicable to the final business and audience.
Children’s privacy
PriceNine is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review the concern.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site, providers, or practices change. We will post an updated effective date when we do. Material changes to a communication program will be handled in a manner appropriate to the program and applicable requirements.
